Very good points, I could not agree more. It’s true that the intial investment of staging a home can be very intimidating for a lot of people. With that being said, you should wait to list your home until you have saved up enough money to stage it properly, especially if you are in a tough selling market. For most people, staging isn’t a luxury and is something that needs to be done. Great things to consider, thank you!

Having sold a home last year I realised that staging your home was a very important part of selling a home. I found it really hard to keep things under control with small children. In the end when everything was ready for a viewing we left the house and let the estate agents sell the house with no distractions from the children. We also invested in some additional soft furnishings and the investment paid off.

Thanks for the post, im sure a lot of homeowners would find this useful.
If I may add, color wheels are great to base your work on but quite frankly, it is hard to get the color that you really want since you have to know which colors are available and which are not.
You can try and mix colors to get what you want, but there are a lot of variables in doing so and the intensity of paints are reduced once you mix them together. This is where professionals can really help homeowners.
